FAITH FORWARD MINISTRY

Parable of the Ten Virgins  (Matthew 25:1–13)
The Parable of the Ten Virgins teaches us about readiness for Christ’s return.

Ten virgins go out to meet the bridegroom, each carrying a lamp. Five are wise and bring extra oil; five are foolish and bring none. When the bridegroom is delayed, all fall asleep. At midnight, the call comes that he is arriving. The wise are ready and go in with him to the wedding feast, but the foolish, who had to go buy more oil, arrive too late and are shut out.

Be spiritually prepared at all times, because we do not know the day or hour of Christ’s return. Readiness cannot be borrowed or delayed
