FAITH FORWARD MINISTRY

Parable of the Talents     (Matthew 25:14–30)
The Parable of the Talents teaches about faithful stewardship and accountability.

A master entrusts his servants with different amounts of money ("talents") before going on a journey—five to one servant, two to another, and one to a third—each according to their ability. The first two invest and double their amounts, while the third hides his talent in fear and returns only what he was given. When the master returns, he praises the first two servants and rewards them, but condemns the third for his laziness and fear, taking his talent away and casting him out.

God expects us to use the gifts and opportunities He gives us faithfully and productively. Those who do will be rewarded, while those who waste or neglect their gifts will face consequences.
